You walk into a familiar room—but something feels off.
You click on different pieces of furniture in the image, each triggering a subtle shift in color. It starts with a chair, then a lamp. As the red slowly spreads, the space begins to ripple.
This work attempts to capture those unnoticed transformations—the quiet infiltration of information, the slow seep of power. They slip into our lives gently, almost tenderly, until one day we realize that everything around us has quietly changed.
The original inspiration for this project came from the color red.
We began by collecting instances of red from everyday life, and from there, a narrative started to form:
Imagine a world where color is both a companion and a prison.
At the heart of this story is an individual whose allergy confines them to the color red—every interaction, every meal, every garment must be crimson. All sensory experiences are filtered through this single hue.
This concept explores the emotional and psychological weight of sensory restrictions. It reflects how a disability or allergy can profoundly shape one’s daily life, mirroring the real challenges faced by individuals navigating environments that are not fully inclusive. Just as this person is confined to a red-dominated world, many others with sensory or physical limitations face exclusion in spaces not designed for them.
By presenting this story, we invite reflection on the emotional resonance of color and its role in shaping perception and experience. It also opens a conversation about accessibility—how we might create spaces that are not only functional but empathetic and inclusive.

Expanding from this idea, the work uses the gradual spread of red to represent how unnoticed transformations creep into our lives—how information quietly infiltrates, how power slowly seeps in. These forces enter so subtly, almost tenderly, that by the time we notice, everything around us has already changed.
